Negative learning mentality is a common phenomenon appearing during Soleggio teaching process in Putian University. This paper, through questionnaire survey on students' learning mentality of Soleggio, makes a complete and profound analysis on the deeply-rooted causes of this phenomenon, raises the theoretical basis for the problem so as to form effective interventions. Hopefully, it can be served as fine references as well as consultation for the construction of Soleggio discipline in Putian University and even for the course revolution of musical education of higher education.
