The Phonetic Research On The Linyi Dialect

The Linyi dialect belongs to a branch of Jilu Mandarin . As there were a lot of immigrants moving into the field in history,the Linyi dialect has its own unique characteristics. With the promotion of Putonghua recently,the Linyi dialect has been some changes. In view of the Linyi dialect,there have been few researchers,so the research work leaves much to be desired.The thesis summarizes basic regular pattern of the Linyi dialect by using description and comparison.The whole text is divided into six chapters.Contents are as follows:Chapter 1: Summary. It introduces the location,population and history of Linyi and also the phonetic summary and phonetic symbols of the Linyi dialect.Chapter 2:The Phonetic System of the Linyi Dialect. It descrikes in detail consonants,vowels and tones in the system of monosyllables,the structure of syllables and the phonetic differences between ancient written and modern spoken dialects.Chapter 3.The Phonetic Changes of the Linyi Dialect. It descrikes the changes in tone including the light tone and a special change in the end of pronunciation in Chinese.Chapter 4: The Phonetic Comparison Between Linyi Dialect and Beijing Pronunciation. It compares them in consonants,vowels and tones.Chapter 5: The Phonetic Comparison Between Linyi Dialect and Ancient Pronunciation. It tries to analyze how ancient sounds developed into the Linyi dialect in three respects.Chapter 6: A collection of homophones in the Linyi Dialect.
