As the employment situation is getting severer, employment pressure has gradually become the main psychological pressure of the undergraduates in China, which has aroused the concern of many scholars.But at present, regarding employment pressure, most of articles are the present situation description, induction, summing up and the qualitative analysis, only few articles could study undergraduates' employment pressure and the countermeasures from the standpoint of stress theory in psychology.Therefore, we hope to compile a professional coping style questionnaire of undergraduates' employment pressure. So that we can provide reference for the research which studies the status of students' employment pressure and coping styles, and also, we can provide some good suggestion for the guidance of employment.Based on former studies, open-ended investigation and counseling of experts, we construct a theoretical hypothesis model which contains nine factors about the coping styles with employment pressure of undergraduates, and compile a coping style questionnaire about employment pressure for Chinese undergraduates. Via Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, the data showed support the theoretical frame. We established the questionnaire formally. After that, we had study the character of undergraduates' coping style of employment pressure. The results indicated that:(1)Coping styles of undergraduates' employment pressure include nine factors: Diverting attention, Seeking support, Seeking help, Self-promotion, Collecting employment information, Venting and avoiding, Positive cognition, Adjusting mentality and Compromise.(2) The theoretical construction of coping style of undergraduates' employment pressure is rational, and the questionnaire based on it had good reliability and validity, which can be used to measure the coping styles of employment pressure for undergraduates. (3) Facing the employment pressure , undergraduates adopt all kinds of coping styles, which is ordered by the frequency of use from more to less: Positive cognition oftener than Adjusting mentality, Collecting employment information, Self-promotion, Compromise, Seeking support, Diverting attention, Seeking help and Venting and avoiding.(4) The coping styles of undergraduates' employment pressure have significant Gender difference on Venting and avoiding, Seeking support and Self-promotion. Male students adopt Venting and avoiding oftener than female students; And female students adopt Seeking support and Self-promotion oftener than male students.(5) The coping styles of undergraduates' employment pressure have significant City and Countryside difference on Venting and avoiding, Seeking help, Diverting attention, Seeking support, Compromise, Self-promotion, Collecting employment information and Positive cognition.(6) The coping styles of undergraduates' employment pressure have significant major difference on Positive cognition, Venting and avoiding, Collecting employment information, Compromise and Self-promotion.
