| Aesthetic education, as an important component of education, is constantly attached too much important by common people. We always believe that harmony is beauty, and people should be got aesthetic education. People not only hopes that the aesthetic education does well to the individual consciousness on life, but also hopes that the aesthetic education can play a part in people's humane concern. Folk art is an important component of traditional culture, which can be regarded as an important source of aesthetic education because it has the functions of understanding nation's history, educating offspring, condensing the national, encouraging and so on.This paper tries to explain aesthetic education functions of Xiushan festive lantern in the view of aesthetic pedagogy. To research Xiushan festive lantern's function of aesthetic education can reveal artistic charms of traditional art and country culture's value of aesthetic education. Therefore, can expand the field of aesthetical education, and arouse the educational circle attach enough importance to the aesthetic education of Folk art and folk custom. Beginning with the history of Xiushan festive lantern, this paper analyzed the artistic character of it from the aspects of music, dance and the drama. And on the base of the artistic character of Xiushan festive lantern, this paper analyzed its functions of aesthetic education in view of and visual and auditory sense:nourishes temperament by beauty——infiltrating function by melting beauty in mind;inspires truth by beauty——enlightening function by taking entertainment as a mediumof education; strengthening the body by beauty——strong and handsome function byphysical exercise. Xiushan festive lantern is a state-level intangible cultural heritage. We must pay more attention to Xiushan festive lantern, protect it, and carry it forward. To protect and carry forward Xiushan festive lantern, four ways are proposed: classroom teaching of festive lantern art, brand strategy, popularization, and developing the tourism industry of lantern's customs. To study on Xiushan festive lantern's function of aesthetic education is of great to constructing social aesthetic education in respects: expanding resources of aesthetic education, widening the scope of aesthetic education, enriching the way to practicing aesthetic education. |
