Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) took training students'cross-culture communication ability as the ultimate target, but the culture differences between students'Native culture and Chinese culture were easily led to communication mistakes. Therefore, it was necessary to teach foreign students the culture factors, especially the culture factors'Pragmatic culture. The Pragmatic culture was extremely important because it was closely related to communication. Textbook was the basis for teaching. The success of teaching largely depended on the scientific and rational scheduling situation of textbooks. This paper investigated the repetition and distribution of the Pragmatic culture of Chinese for Beginners and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the content scheduling situation, which was hopeful to provide some reference data to the TCFL textbook and to promote the TCFL culture teaching. The whole paper can be divided into four parts:The first pare was the introduction. First it showed the issue's source and significance; then identified that why we chose Chinese for Beginners as object researched and reviewed the current study situation of Chinese for Beginners; next, make a comprehensive understanding to clarify what is"communication culture"and what is"Pragmatic culture"on the basis of research of the"culture factors", thus establishing the classification standards of culture factors; finally introduced the content and purpose of this paper.The second part investigated the Pragmatic cultures'repetition situation. First, divided the Pragmatic culture into five categories from the perspective of pragmatic, then inspected the specific contents of the Pragmatic cultures with the number of repetition, and investigated whether they determined the content accordance with the"gain functional priority"principle, the"common"principle, the"practicality and diversity"principle and the"culture characteristics priority" principle.The third part analyzed the Pragmatic cultures'repetition and distribution situation. First, analyzed every Pragmatic culture in the whole with the repetition rate and distribution rate; then analyzed the specific Pragmatic cultures'repetition and distribution situation to make sure whether they comply the orders according to the"useful knowledge learns first"principle, whether distribute into textbook according to the"fragmented"principle, whether they are complied with the"gradual and orderly progressive"principle to repetition.Through summing up of the previous study, the forth part summed four principles of content determined, which is the"gain functional priority"principle, the"common"principle, the"practicality and diversity"principle and the"culture characteristics priority"principle. Then summed three laws of compiling of the Pragmatic cultures, firstly, they should according to the"useful knowledge learns first"principle to comply the orders; secondly, they should according to the"fragmented"principle to distribute the knowledge into textbook; thirdly, they should complied with the"gradual and orderly progressive"principle to repetition. This part also pointed out the amendment of the textbook content in the new edition Chinese for Beginners and finally got some revelation about TCFL textbook preparing and TCFL culture teaching.
