Under the background of new era, with the rapid transformation of social production and the constant improvement of social civilization level, people's demands for opening study have been growing with each passing day. More and more incumbency personnel hope to obtain more high-level academic education. Meanwhile, the wide application of modern information and communication technologies in the field of distance education have built more and more open academic environment for people too. Therefore, the study on this new teaching mode is of great significance at this moment when the art design education begins to comply with the demands of era and devote itself into the modern distance opening education.On the basis of the theory research and the practice investigation, and taking the art design teaching practice in distance opening education experimental item as the study background, this thesis firstly studies the current art design specialty teaching model in distance opening education and indicates the important meaning of setting up the scientific teaching mode of distance art design education. And then, in view of the special characteristics of the art design, for the comprehensive promotion of art design education in our country, this thesis further proposes some principles for its future development.Starting from distance opening educational art design teaching work engaged in presently, the writer carries on deeper researches and explorations to the development of the art design education and the setting-up of the new teaching mode in the modern distance opening education. She proposes the following ideas:1.The differences between the traditional art curriculum teaching method and the modern distance educational approach2. Teacher-student relationship under the new teaching mode3. The uniqueness of teaching method and media utilization of art design course4. How to do practice teaching 5. How to use modern technology to make distance art design education to carry on effectively, and knowledge convert to the necessity of profession quicklyThere are four parts as the follows in this thesis:Part one: Narrates the connotation and the essential characteristic of the distance opening education, and introduces the present situation and the tendency of domestic and foreign distance opening education;Part two: By analyzing the necessities of developing distance art design education and how the modern distance teaching educational approaches have promoted the art design education in our country, discusses the meaning of distance art design education under the contemporary new teaching mode;Part three: Analyses the terms of the composing about learners and teachers, the teacher-student relationship under the new teaching mode, and the uniqueness of teaching method and media utilization of art design course. Points out the features of new distance art design teaching mode;Part four: Analyzing with the concrete cases of the distance art design educational reform in Hunan Radio and TV University, this thesis explains the new achievements of the present distance opening educational teaching mode reform, and puts forward the new thinking of constructing the scientific art design teaching mode. Lastly, it proves the great significance of setting up an art design discipline system and teaching system with distance educational characteristics in the distance opening educational teaching mode reform.
