Sun Li was a writer among Chinese revolutional literary ranks led by the Party whose writing background was focused on the resistant activities against Japanese aggression behind the enemy lines in the latepart of the mid-40s of last century. Influened by the traditional sense of distress and encouraged by the spirit of "The Speech",as a response to the political call, he used the literary technique of romanticism in his series to demonstrate"the ultimate perfection"which is highlighted in the goodness of human nature ,the beauty of human relationship and the harmony of human ethics. Instesd of paying attention to caring for the descriptions lf the characters'existing defects, he added a touch of ideal colour and romance to the characters to demonstrate the common ideals of triumping over the War and getting liberated if uniting the whole nation. Meanwhile he intrgrated the War itself with a writer's individualism perfectly to arrive at the truly perfect"union of the times and the individual ",hence combining the aesthetic appreciation of novels with mainstream responsibilities to express his own political ideals successfully, and meanwhile to meet the need of wartime propagation for the service of the Anti-Japaness Aggressive War and the Liberation War led by the Party. So"He Hua Dian"series is Sun Li's artistic expression of political idealism.
