Wang Bida(AD1821-1881), a style Zhifu, assumed name Xiaxuan, was a commoner who was born in Lingui County (Guilin ), Guangxi.He passed the imperial examinations at the provincial level in the 23th year of DaoGuang emperor and became the county magistrate of Jiangchang county for military merit,in Jiangxi. then he was promoted to be a governor who manage grain and then became a county magistrate of Ansu county,in Gansu. finally he was transferred to be a governor of Huizhou,Chaozhou and Meizhou,in Guangdong .He died of illness during the journey ,annual 61 years old.His sonWang Pengyun, who was the famouse poet in the Late Qing Dynasty. He was experienced four emperors: Daoguang, Xianfeng, Tongzhi. He become Zou Minghe's and Zeng Guofan's assistant to a ranking official, his excellence can be fully affirmed. He was an honest and incorruptible official when he in Jiangxi and Gansu, reformed the bad policy. It was some achievements in his official career.This paper, with Beishang Anthology and Guojiang Anthology and the after Beishang Anthology by Wang Bida which in the period of his youth and old age period as the research target, is to carry out version identification, character collation, aiming to let the readers understand Wang Bida and his poems. on the basis of existing research results. This dissertation have several aspects, such as Wang Bida's life career, Wang Bida's ideas' study, Wang Bida's works and the information about the edition, the poems's ideas and content, and the artistic characters and so on with the hope to let people today possess a fully understanding of his poems and makes an even comment on his achievements.
