From the perspective of speeches, lexicon and grammar, this thesis is meant to gain new insight into the influences of the Zhuang language upon the six main dialects related to Guangxi including vernacular, Ping dialect, mandarin, Hakka, Xiang dialect and Min dialect. Based upon some theories in connection with language contact and mutual influences of languages, this essay is meant to analysis and sum up the possible causes and nature of changes.This essay focuses on vernacular, Ping dialect and mandarin, including five parts:1. A survey of the distribution of Zhuang language and Chinese language in Guangxi.2. Influences of the Zhuang language upon other Chinese dialects in Guangxi, which is the principal part. It will mainly discuss the phonetics, lexis and syntax and dwell on the influences of lexis. Besides, in choice of typical vocabulary for a study, this essay adopts words and phrases in the leading periodicals and records of local dialects. Also by studying some key points of local dialects, Also by studying some key points of local dialects, it lists and throws new light on the many words and phrases of the Zhuang language used in other dialects such as vernacular, Ping dialect, mandarin, Hakka and so on. It also adds more additional explanation to other vocabulary in the Zhuang language in other fields and aspects.3. Features of the influences made upon other Chinese dialects by the Zhuang language.4. Causes of the influences of the Zhuang language upon the Chinese dialects.5. The summary, dealing with the significance of the conducted study.
