Human organic nouns (also called organic nouns) are the lexical reflection of the most consanguineous experience related with human beings ourselves. This research project, mainly applying the Distributing theory of Structuralism and the Prototype theory of Cognitive linguistics, systematically describe the inner characteristics of organic nouns, on the base of which, the syntactic function of organic nouns are well analyzed. In the part about the syntactic function of organic nouns, the phenomenon of structural appearance-disappearance is discussed systematically. This research program on organic nouns mainly includes the following sections:Chapter one: The classification of organic nouns. According to different gists, organic nouns are classified into different types in detail. The characteristics of each type of organic nouns are formulated reasonedly.Chapter two: The inner characteristics of organic nouns. Applying the Distributing theory of Structuralism and the Prototype theory of Cognitive linguistics, this part mainly discusses the inner characteristics of organic nouns. Syllables, meanings, morphology, and structuring are discussed independently. This part compares the Chinese organic nouns and English ones in their inner characteristics.Chapter three: The outer representation of organic nouns. English organic nouns are a little different from Chinese ones in some syntactic functions. English organic nouns can not act as predicate in sentences, it can seldom used as adverbial modifier, which are obviously different from Chinese organic nouns.Chapter four: The structural appearance-disappearance of organic nouns and the restricting factors of the structural appearance-disappearance. This part describes different types of structural appearance-disappearance and analyses the reason for that. Reasons that caused structural appearance-disappearance are divided into two aspects: one is the organic nouns themselves; the other is the outer factors, such as other structural parts in sentences, macro syntactic factors. The other structural parts in sentences mean organic verbs or organic adjectives or other organic word appearing in sentences, the semantic characteristics and relation with the organic nouns of which have important effect on the organic nouns. As far as the macro syntactic factors, the part mainly discuss the diachronic factor and the pragmatic factor on the structural appearance-disappearance of organic nouns...
