By means of questionnaire, this research takes 552 college Normal students as the subjects. It analyzes the correlation between self-confidence development of college Normal students and their calligraphy interest level. It uses "Personal Evaluation Inventory" (PEI) developed by Shrauger and the self work-out "the Handwriting Training Inventory" to investigate 5-year college normal students in a Normal college in Anhui Province. The results indicated:1,Self-confidence of college Normal students showed normal distribution.2,Self-confidence level of college Normal students was not significantly affected by grade. There is significant difference between grade 1 (which is the highest) and other 4 grades. Grade 3 is the lowest.3,Calligraphy interest level of college normal students was affected by grade. There is significant difference between grade 1,grade two (which are the highest) and other grades. Grade 3 is the lowest.4,Self-confidence of college Normal students was positively correlated with their calligraphy interest level. That is to say, generally the higher the calligraphy interest, the higher the self-confidence.5,There is no significant difference between genders in self-confidence development of college normal students.
