Comparative Research On Folk Song Of The Boat Dwellers, The Han Nationality Around And The She Nationality Around In The East Of Fujian Province

Boat dwellers are the ethnic group who live in the water area of southern area. During the process of history development, Boat dwellers of the eastern Fujian province not only keep their own unique culture style, but also mingle with the She nationality to built a harmonious society and create the civilization of human.The theory and method of ethical musicology is employed in this thesis to analysis and conclude the category, tone as well as the art characteristics of folk song in eastern Fujian province. Moreover, then, comparing with the folk song of Boat dwellers, the Han nationality which live closely and the She nationality.We search the experience the interaction of Boat dwellers and these colonies around. Due to it, we provide a case study which is a weaker culture how to survive in the civilization of harmonious society and is how to tackle with the culture conflict between different cultures. As it can be concluded from this thesis, the musical language of Boat dwellers is more like the Han nationality, because their dialect and life habit are communicated together. But compared with music of the she nationality, it is shown more different.
