The Northwest Travel Notes And Northwest Exploitinge In The 1930s

In the 1930s,the Northwest area has become the focus of attention in China. Traveling to the Northwest has become a social trend of the time, resulting in a large number of Northwest Travel notes. Northwest travel notes, mainly refers documentary records written by the persons ,during the time when they in the Northwest area for the purpose of mission, survey ,inspection, tourism, visiting relatives, business or office, and so on ,in all the times. It includes travel notes, diary, communications and other forms of Style.For some unknown reason, Northwest Travel notes has long been ignored and nearly no study has been made on it.Hence, I have made some primary research and analysis on it. Since the Northwest Travel notes in the 1930s features large number and various themes, I would like to make detailed study on more then 20 representative Northwest Travel notes which are be readed by me.This thesis is divided into three parts:Firstly,from the angle of social background,the thesis explores the causes of the creation of the Northwest Travel notes in the 1930s, Some of the main conditions for the production of large number of Northwest travel notes are be analysised, such as the improvement of transportation conditions, the development of tourism and the campaign of the Northwest exploiting.Secondly, the thesis introduces the main content of the Northwest travel notes in the 1930s from several respects. It includes the description of the Northwest political situation and the living conditions of the people of northwest, the concern on social issues including the opium and the religion and the announcement of the imperialistic action of aggression.Finally, the thesis pointed out that its major impact on the campaign of the Northwest exploiting on the basis of the detailed analysis of the Northwest Travel notes in the 1930s.
