The Emergence Of "Body" Symbolism

This paper investigates into the impact of western feminism thinking on the modern Chinese feminist fine art; why"body"has become its symbol; and how it uses the"body"symbolism to express the"reality"of women. The paper looks into the reasons for the emergence and developments of this phenomenon; the various forms of manifestation in the fine arts of the"body"symbolism; and the feminist stream of consciousness behind it.
