The Study Of Tongjia In Maoshizhuanjiantongshi

As one kind of peculiar but important linguistic facts in Chinese, "Tongjia" has been one of the focal points of the linguists' study. Since the Han Dynasty begins, especially Qing Dynasty, appeared very many outstanding research results particular in Tongjia. Maoshizhuanjiantongshi not only is an outstanding explanations of words in ancient books, also is the important representative of the Tongjia research in Qing Dynasty. The large amount of the borrowed words that have been explained also provided the rich material for ours research.This paper involved mainly five chapters:(1)the standard to determine the original words;(2) the scope of the original words;(3)the relations of the original words and the borrowed words;(4)the corresponding relations of the original words and the borrowed words;(5)the time of the original words and the borrowed words.We contacted the current theories about Tongjia study and evaluated Ma Ruichen's Tongjia theories with objective and impartial attitude, so as to absorb the essence and discard the dross. All of this will provide a reference and draw lessons for our further study.
