Its special expressive connotation and style begin to appear in all kinds of public surroundings and enrich and influence people's sight quality. It is the powerful supplement for public art.Entrance of modern pottery into public surroundings has met the culture and surrounding special requirement of the pace of urbanization. At the same time, it also promoted modern pottery into a new field. To great extent, it pursues a reorganization from new art concept. The writer collected a great amount of material from home and abroad and reorganized them. By the method of combining producing practice with theory study and thinking, the writer analyzed the relationship between public art and public surroundings and culture and characteristic of pottery art development home and abroad. There ways are mainly studied and analyzed: that is, the main style, language expression and art feature when modern art interferes public surroundings.On the basis of it we approached the developing situation and living space of modern pottery art entering public art field. We realized that public surroundings achieved its developing perspective in form, social function, faculty construction and other fields. Meanwhile we advocate modern pottery producing should keep the balance between individual consciousness and public consciousness. We hope we can provide more point of penetration for modern pottery producing, get tough on producing so as to make the modern pottery develop quickly in public surroundings.
