Experience economy is the fourth phase of the development of man's economy life after agriculture economy, industry economy and service economy. The experience design going with it also walk up the history stage. Products are the footstone of the economy. Today, with the advanced technology human being is no longer satisfied with the level of material requirements , but also concerned about the non-material aspects of the emotional needs and psychological experience. So, besides the physical function, the products should be the information carriers of emotional communication between users and designers, the surrounding environment and the society .Emotional factors have become an indispensable part in the design, and the more the higher-level design to develop, the more people pay attention to the emotional needs. That is, through design, to achieve communication and exchanges between product and the people's heart and spirit, to embody a more people-oriented design. This article, which started with experience economy and experience design, combining the nature and content of "experience" and "emotional", elaborated the emotional experience and their means of expression in three levels. The principles and methods based on emotional experience also have been put forward in this article. And it has concluded the design process based on emotion experience to guide design practice.
