A Research Of The Implicit Attitude And Psychological Features On The University Students With Suicide Ideations

Suicide takes the suicidal actions, generally due to the initial suicide ideation. Recently the research on the implicit attitude is the frontier problem of the implicit social cognition field. This paper aims at discussing the implicit cognition of the university students who have suicide ideations in the respect of implicit attitude, and makes a comparison in psychological features between the students with suicide ideation and that without, in addition, it broadens the field of psychological research on the university students with suicide ideation, and reveals further the psychological complexity and contradiction of the suicide.This paper consists of the literature review, case study and conclusion. In the literature review, the researcher collects and analyses the updated domestic and overseas relative materials about suicide ideation and attitude, and review the definition, phenomena and the research methods of implicit attitude. Combined with the inconsistency of external features and intrinsic factors, the author carries out the case study from two aspects: the nine genres of SCL-90 and implicit attitude of the person with suicide ideation.In the experimental parts, the author adopts the response difference as the method of Implicit Association Test(IAT)in experiment NO. 1, and devices the test procedures used to test the implicit attitude of the university students with suicide ideation. Experiment NO.2 uses questionnaires to acquire the scores of the external aspects in order to draw a comparison in psychological features between the students with suicide ideation and that without. The results illustrate: 1.IAT is the tool, which is reliable, sensitive and effective to test implicit attitude. 2.There exists great distinctions between the students with suicide ideation and that without in implicit attitudes, and the groups having suicide ideation are much liable to relate themselves to negative words. 3.That hometown is in the village has a notable influence on the implicit attitude of people with suicide ideation. 4. The students with suicide ideation are higher than that with no suicide ideation in markers in the nine genres of SCL-90 on average, therefore, the students with suicide ideation actually have slight or heavy psychological problems. 5. The person with suicide ideation gets marks ranging from high to low respectively according to different symptoms as compulsion, personal relationship, depression anxiety, hostility, paranoia, psychosis, somatization, and phobia. 6.Men with suicide ideation are more suspicious than the women in the clinic.7.The situation in the four genes being somatization, depression, hostility and phobia of the one child is better than that of non-one children.8.There are no remarkable differences between the students from village and city, and whose parents'education degrees vary in nigh genes of SCL-90.9.In the test of the suicide ideation, the kids whose mothers are illiterate embody more somatization than the kids of educated mothers. 10.The survey testifies there is a direct relation between depression genes with suicide ideation.
