College students’ employment has been concerned about a hot social problems. The oldrelated research mostly stay on college students’ employment impact factors andcountermeasures study, the research about subject differences of employment is seldom. Thisresearch attempts to analysis the college students’ implicit subject occupational stereotypes byIAT and SEB. This paper is divided into four parts, the first part is Literature Review, the relatedconcept definition, introduced the related research and former measurement method. The secondpart is the experimental research, for a total of three experiments. The third part is the totaldiscussion. The fourth part is the conclusion. This research has three experiments. Experiments1use a IAT to test college studentswhether have a implicit subject attitude of " relative to Arts, more identify with Science", andthe implicit attitude whether has subject differences and gender differences. Experiment2use aIAT to test college students whether have implicit subject occupational stereotypes:"Science, positive employment prospects; Arts, negative employment prospects ". Experiments3use SEBto test college students, research implicit subject occupational stereotypes by the attributionnumber and the attribution ways, and compare IAT with SEB measured by related analysis. The results of the research show that:1. IAT can detect significantly to college students’ implicit subject attitude, the IAT effectof implicit subject attitude reach the significance level, college students exist the implicit attitudeof " relative to Arts, more identify with Science ".2. The IAT effect of implicit subject attitude does not exist gender differences, boys andgirls hold the same implicit attitude, also it does not exist subject differences, liberal arts andscience students hold the same implicit subject attitude.3. IAT cannot detect the college students’ obvious "Science, positive employment prospects;Arts, negative employment prospects" implicit stereotype, IAT effect not up to the thesignificance level, college students does not exist the implicit attitude of "Science employmentbetter than Arts ".4.The IAT effect of implicit subject occupational stereotypes does not exist genderdifferences and subject differences.5. SEB detect that college students have obvious implicit stereotypes to liberal arts, and donot have obvious implicit stereotypes to science students. SEB1and0does not exist significantdifference, SEB2and0exist significant difference. It shows that college students agree that Artshas negative employment prospects, do not agree that Science has positive employmentprospects.6.SEB1and SEB2do not exist gender differences and subject differences. Gender and subject interaction influence SEB2significantly, do not influence SEB1significantly. Under theinfluence of sex of the major carry on the simple analysis, it shows that, subject exist significanteffect to the SEB2of male, subject does not exist significant effect to the SEB2of female.7.According to the SEB results, the negative career event of science major is intended tomake internal attribution, the positive career event of science major is intended to make theexternal attribution. For liberal arts of positive and negative career event made no significantdifferences between the internal and external attribution.8.The IAT scores of experiment2and the SEB scores of experimental3make a related test,It found that the IAT effect scores and SEB1scores was positive correlation, IAT effect scoresand SEB2scores was negative correlation, SEB1scores and SEB2scores was negativecorrelation, but all of them did not reach the level of significance.
