| Vocabulary plays a crucial role in the process of teaching and learning of a second language. Because vocabulary is one of the indispensable components of language system and we can convey nothing without vocabulary.So students' vocabulary directly affects their ability in Chinese.Therefore,the compilation of vocabulary of a TCFL textbook exerts a direct impact on the results of Chinese language teaching.At the present time,discussion about vocabulary mainly focused on the following aspects: vocabulary quantity,vocabulary distribution,word recurrence rate,translation and explanation.This paper takesã€Šè·Ÿæˆ‘å¦æ±‰è¯ã€‹Learn Chinese with me as the main object of study,try to analyses the advantages and disadvantages on compilation of vocabulary of this set of books. This analysis bases on the content of the textbooks and relevant theories.And based on this analysis,some suggestions on words processing and arrangement in textbooks are given.This paper is mainly composed of several parts as follows:1.Give an comprehensive analysis on the compilation of vocabulary,choices of words and vocabulary control in texts on the basis of relevant statistical data and theories.2.Draw an conclusion fi'om two experiments that recurrence rate of word should be decided by its degree of difficulty.And we propose that an overall degree of difficulty of words should be constructed.3.Observe the problems on annotation of words through two aspects:label of word-of-speech and translation of new words.Based on four different kinds of semantic relationships between words of target language and their equivalents in intermediary language, we discuss the mode of interpretation and translation strategy under different situations.Hence, we propose some principles on annotation of words. |
