Research On Vocabulary Item Arrangement In HSK Standard Course (1-4)

"HSK Standard Course 1-4" is a local Chinese textbook arranged by Hanban and based on the original examination questions.It is authoritative.Using statistical analysis methods,questionnaire survey methods,and teaching experience at Surabaya National University in Indonesia,the author made a detailed investigation and analysis of the word compilation of "HSK Standard Course 1-4".This article mainly analyzes the characteristics of vocabulary compilation of "HSK Standard Course 1-4,from four aspects:vocabulary collection,recurrence rate,annotations and exercises.In the vocabulary collection part,the total vocabulary of "HSK Standard Course 1-4" is relatively small,the vocabulary of a single lesson is more evenly distributed,there is no big fluctuation,the vocabulary has a high outline rate,and the parts of speech are mostly nouns.In terms of vocabulary recurrence rate,the recurrence rate of the four volumes of "HSK Standard Course 1-4" is low.Among them,the vocabulary with the recurrence rate of the first two volumes in the top 20 is mostly single-syllable empty words,and the last two volumes are double-syllable.The content words are mostly.In terms of vocabulary annotations,the textbook "HSK Standard Course 1-4" has a more detailed labeling of parts of speech,and the interpretation method is mainly based on media interpretation,including "word interpretation" and"sentence interpretation".There are some problems in the accuracy of vocabulary notes and the amount of accompanying information.In terms of vocabulary exercises in textbooks,"HSK Standard Course 1-4" has a comprehensive vocabulary exercise type,but there are some problems such as small vocabulary exercises in the first two volumes and uneven distribution of exercise types.In short,"HSK Standard Course 1-4" has both advantages and disadvantages in terms of word compilation.In view of the lack of vocabulary compilation,the author makes several feasible suggestions:In terms of vocabulary collection,consider including representative vocabulary of cultural topics,and increase the proportion of verbs.In terms of vocabulary reproduction,it can be based on the commonality and difficulty level of the vocabulary to determine the number of recurrences,you can also determine the text frame first,and then determine the recurrence rate of vocabulary.In terms of vocabulary interpretation,special treatment of the part of speech of special vocabulary,and more interpretation methods such as picture interpretation and symbol interpretation.In terms of vocabulary practice,the number of vocabulary exercises in the "HSK Standard Course 1-2" should be increased,and the question types should also take into account the frequency,so as to be unified as a whole and innovative in some parts.
