A large munber of animes popular now in China,especially those imported from Japan and America,are full of violence.Such animes,which circulate via TV,video discs and internet,exert a great influence on the social psychology and social behavior of children.Anime violence has been one of the most extensively issure in the social.And there is almost don't have empirical study for this topic.Middle school students are the main audience of anime.In this thesis we use the junior middle school students as the subject to study what's the feature and amount of annime and whether it can influence students aggressiveness.This thesis include three research.First,It scans all the 98 animations series which junior middle school student like.We does a sample analysis get the outlines of the violence in students'likes animes.Then by analysising the content of 3 animations which the junior middle school students favorite.The paper expounds animes violence in two dimensinalities:intensity of animes violence and characteristics of it.The content ananlysis have high reliability and validity.Then,372 junior middle school students participated in the experiment study (including 7th,8th,9th garde student).This research,based on a Multi-factordesign ed experiment which used to calculate the short-term contribution of animes violence and tried to explore the relationship between animes violence and junior middle school students'aggressive congnition,behavior and current feeling.At last,We Study the long-term influence on youngsters' aggressive tendency by the animes violence through covariance analysis.60 junior middle school students took part in this research(including 7th,8th,9thgrade students).This reasearch investigated the long-term effect of the animes on the individual implicit which calculated by IAT and explicit aggressiveness.The results of this study are as follows:(1) On the whole,Nearly 60%of the animes which junior middle school students like contain much violent portary.Male and older students favorite violent animes.(2) The three animations which students like best contain a lot of violent scans.and by content analysis,We find there are five features of violent portrayals that these anminations have:(a) A lot of violent incidents on television are initiated by "good"characters who are likely to be perceived as attractive role models;(b) Violence seems justified and seems the only method to solve the problem;(c) Violent scan has been close-up and beautify;(d) Violence that goes unpunished,even be rewarded;(e) Violence that seems humor and unrealistic to the viewer.These patterns teach children that violence is desirable,necessary,and painless,and provides"high risk" presentations of violence most likely to adversely affect younger audiences.(3) The result of the short-term of the animes violence to students'aggressiveness demonstrated that:On the whole,Violent animes scans would prime the aggressive congnition,but the effect was mediated by the person variable.the priming effect was more evident to high trait-aggressiveness individual,Looking violent animes scans change students current emotion.low trait-aggressiveness female individual have much more fair.The gender of the individual and the type of the animes scans influenced the aggressive behavior interactively.Violent animes scans only primed the male students'aggressive behavior.(4) The result of research show that:by control the enviroment violence score as covariate variable,The explicit aggression don't have significant difference between severe animes viewer and students who almost not watch animes.Besides,gender and the type of students influenced the implict aggression interactively.As for male students,the implicit aggression is higher for severe anime viewer than that of students who almost not watch anime.
