Awakening And Consciousness: Peasants In The Anti-Japanese Base Area

The outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan pushed the peasants to the important position of national survival. Under the mobilization, organization and education of the Communist Party of China,peasants in Anti-Japanese Base Area awoke gradually and grew up in the gunsmoke, they made tremendous contribution for the base construction and the victory of the war. Along with the development of winter school movement and the richly colorful recreational activities, the peasants increased their ideological recognition and education degree.All kinds of literary works about peasants'life also emerged as mushroomed. In brief, peasants in Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Anti-Japanese Base Area have played the huge role and established the abundant merit cause during the construction of base.
