Research On The Related Influencing Factors Of Police's Subjective Well-being

Subjective Well-being has been paid more and more attention as an important comprehensive psychological index to measure the life quality of individuals and the society.Police is a high-risk,high-pressure career, on one hand,the police often face the threat of injury even sacrifice;On the other hand,the police are under enormous psychological pressure because of the high-intensity and high-load work.Therefore,it's of great value to study the police's general condition of subjective well-being, analyze the factors that affect the subjective well-being and investigate the ways of improving the subjective well-being.This study sets a city in Hunan as an example,focused on three factors of life events,social support,as well as non-rational cognitive style that affect the police's subjective well-being,research findings are as follows:1.The police's subjective well-being is in good condition in that city, but there are some differences in gender,age and marital status:the the female's subjective well-being is higher than the male;the married police's subjective well-being is higher than unmarried and divorced police.The police over 41-year-old have the highest level of subjective well-being,however the police below 25-year-old have the lowest level of subjective well-being.The subjective well-being of Swat and criminal police is at the lowest.2.Life events affect the police's subjective well-being.Studies have shown that the negative events affect the subjective well-being greatly. And the greatest effect is the work event that the police faced frequently.3.It has a positive correlation between society support and the subjective well-being.The more social support the police receive,the stronger sense of subjective well-being they have.Among them,the support from family,friends,colleagues,neighbors have the greatest effect on it.4.It has a negative correlation between Non-rational cognitive and the subjective well-being.Non-rational cognitive style always led to cognitive bias and forming error evaluation,increasing negative emotion.
