The Study On Yuan Kejia's Theory Of "Dramatization Of New Poetry"

Yuan Kejia is an important theoretician of Jiuye Poets Group.He put forward the theory of the modernization of Chinese free verse mainly based on western modernism poetry theories.He intented to establish the new tradition of poetry.His poetry theories were the most sucessful modernism theories in 1940s.The theory of dramatization,which was the concrete way to realize the modernization of Chinese free verse,was the core of his theories.Jiuye Poets Group practiced this theory in their poetry creations.Yuan Kejia has estabished the quite complete system about the theory of dramatization in new poetry.Dramatization means expressing the will and emotion through the principle of dramatic creation.The dramatized poetry which has broken through the traditional pattern of experssing feelings stressed that the poetry was experiences transmission and requested the poetry to mediate the contradictory.The basic principle of dramatization was indirectness and objectivity.Dramation requested the poets to express emotion and the will objectively.The permating of the theatrical factors could strengthen the poetry'stolerance and develop the performance space of poetry,simultaneously,it could enrich the expression of the modern poetry.Yuan Kejia put forward the theory of dramatization in new poetry for overcoming the tendency of"sad and direct explantion"in poetry at that time.The article is used the method that combines abstractive theoretic analysis with actual text reading to discuss the theory from three aspects:contradictory and conflict in drama,objevtive lyricism and dramatic direction.In the foreword,it not only discusses connotation and the origin of the theory,but also discusses the conditions and foundations of the theory's existence.The dramatized poems are comprehensive poems,it is dialectical to mediate the contradictory.There are some concrete manifestations in the poems,such as:complex tensity,spatial structure,paradox and irony.The poetry obtains the effect of objective lyricism through these ways that include "objective correlative", "thought consciousness",unusual structure of image and role.The three types of dramatization in new poetry are introversion,extroversion and poetic drama.
