Yuan Kejia is an important poet and poetry critic of Chinese new poetry school, in his series of poetry criticism,"the modernization of new poetry" occupies central role. This paper takes close reading of specific poems combined theoretical analysis to discuss modernization of new poetry of Yuan Kejia, from the standards,the way and the origin of the modernization of new poetry three aspects to explore Yuan Kejia’s the theory of poetry in1940s.Preface:First the theoretical study poetics of Yuan Kejia sort out the present situation, and then through the creation of Yuan Kejia stage of poetic theory and theoretical background, a brief introduction, in-depth explanation of this important concept of modern poetry’s content, and explores the unique of Yuan Kejia’s theory of poetry in1940s.Chapter One:The standard of modernization of new poetry. From the poetry of language,experience, structural th(?)to explore the modermization of Chinese new poetry standards of Yuan Kejia. Modern poetry to the language line, through poetry; to experience poetry as surface, achieved by the real-world experience into the experience of poetry, indirect manifestations of emotions; to imagine the logic structure, twists and turns poetic expression. The three together constitute the standard of modern poetry.Chapter Two:The way to modernization of new poetry. Dramatic poetry is the important way to the modernization of new poetry. The dramatization of new poetry mainly there are three forms:First, the within style, takes Rilke as representative’s internally oriented poet, who explores the inner world diligently, merges into one organic whole the objective object with own experience, displays own experience through the objective things. Second, the outgoing style, takes Auden as representative’s export-oriented poet, who described a special perspective, ironic language processing poetry theme, only long-range observation and calm and objective presentation. Third, the drama in poetry type, that is, through dramatic scenes, the dramatic conflict in the form of poetry to express the poetry experience.Chapter Three:The origin of modernization of new poetry. Searches from the Chinese and the Western literature theory two aspects analyzes the Yuan Kejia’s poetics theory the origin. Yuan Kejia’s poetic theory was rooted in the soil of Chinese tradition poetics,absorbed the Western literary arts thought massively the nutrient, received by Eliot,Richards,Empson represented by UK-US new criticism and the direct impact, thus forming the unique system of poetics.Conclusion, the modern poetic theory of Yuan kejia is valuable to explore the wealth of modern poetry. He insisted that the art of poetry and social concept of combining a comprehensive, on behalf of the modern Chinese poetry exploring the initial results, with some inheritance and transcendence.
