An Experimental Study On Implicit Aggressive Of Athletes

The human beings have studied aggressive behaviors for a very long time. Park once said:"there is few research projects, such as attack and control, which have evoked so many theories and practice in the past century."The domestic scholars also follow closely the international research trend, emerging one aggressive research after another. With the development implicit cognition technology, the researchers shift gradually their attention from the explicit survey to the implicit survey. Because the findings of implicit aggression turned out to be various, this study adopts the current popular technology—the implicit cognition technology to discuss the differences of male and female athletes participating in different sports in implicit aggression.In the theoretical part, this paper introduces the definition of implicit aggression, the survey of the implicit aggression as well as the relationship between the implicit and the explicit aggression. Based on the analysis of literature, this paper points out the contradiction of previous researchers, furthermore it testifies that whether there are gender differences for athletes who take part in sports as to implicit aggression.This paper form a hypothesis that two factors: events and genders have influence on implicit aggression. The findings of the experiences indicate the implicit aggression shows remarkable IAT effect. Subjects show automatic tendency, that is"attack is negative, ego is gentle"; male athletes show much stronger implicit aggression than female ones, male athletes, however, don't show remarkable explicit aggression compared to female ones; Each university student athletes (sports dance/basketball/kick boxing) don't show remarkable differences of aggressive degree.
