The existential construction is not only a special kind of sentence pattern in modern Chinese, but it is difficult to study for abroad students.Based on the existing researches of existential construction in the field of Chinese Language by the guidance of three-dimensional grammar, the present thesis attempts to identify research methods.The thesis collects errors made by abroad students on the use of this sentence pattern in the inter-language corpus and questionnaire investigation.From the perspective of studying Chinese language itself and teaching foreigners Chinese,the thesis analyzes these language materials with errors and summarizes the types of errors,then explores the reasons of producing these errors and puts forward some points of view about how to prove the teaching strategy and compile textbooks.At last,the thesis makes the Teaching Strategies which is the 'effective,precise and appropriate,easy to learn' in existential construction teaching.Then the thesis analyzes how to implement specific teaching strategies.So far,our research of the acquisition of the grammatical item of "the existential construction" in Chinese by abroad students is a new attempt in this area,and we except further discussion and research.
