Father's rearing style refers to a fixed behaviour pattern or a emotion pattern which is centralised by the father-child relationship in the family and shown by the fathers'raising children ,It is dependent on the father's attitude about education and influenced by father's personality belief and behavior. It is very valuable both in the theroy and pactice to research and explore , The main aim of this research is to develop a father's rearing style questionnaire which is just adaptable to Chinese father.On the basis of Chinese culture background and foreign studies of Father's rearing style using literature analysis, inverview method, open questionaire, and questionnaire survey, we proposed the questionnaire of Father's rearing style of college students. Based on the questionnaire study of 784 students from threen high schools.We developed a five-component construction of Father's rearing style Based on the questionnaire study of 784 students from threen universities about the Father's rearing style styles . We used the independent sample T test and one-way analysis of variance to analyze the difference of demographic variables in the dimensions of Father's rearing style among different college students. We adopted correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the relationship between the Father's rearing style and coping style questionnaire ,And we also discussed if the Father's rearing style had significant influence on coping style questionnaire. The study reaches conclusions as follows:Firstly, Organizing the Father's rearing style questionnaire includes twenty-seven items, and the structure of it is composed of five dimensions: Participative level,Identification level,Overcontrolled,Negative-affection,Positive-affection. This questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Secondly, Significant differences in female and male students have been found on dimentions of Identification level, Overcontrolled,Negative-affection.Significant differences in different father-education have been found on dimentions of Participative level and Positive-affection. Significant differences in differences family locus have been found on dimentions of Participative level,Overcontrolled,Positive-affection .Thirdly,The style of stress coping that college students were tend to use were promble solving,help-seeking,fancy,avoidance,rationalizationg successively,self-blame.The boys tend to use the style of solving and rationalization. The girls tend to use the style of help-seeking and fancy .Fourthly, five dimensions of the Father's rearing style have significant influence on coping style questionnaire . Identification level and Positive-affection have significant influence on problem-solving. Participative level and Identification level have significant influence on help-seeking .Negative-affection has significant influence on self-blame and fantasy .social interaction sensitivity. Solving problems and avoidance have significant influence on social interaction confidence.
