Ascertainment Of Painted Clay Sculpture In Baosheng Temple In The Town Of Luzhi

The article mainly makes use of art archaeological typology approach,as well as the history of ancient Chinese architecture and clothing information on the history,to firstly reveal artistic style of Sakyamuni Buddha,Arahat and Landscape images from Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty.By making a comparison between painted clay sculpture in Baosheng Temple and typical images from Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty,the author of the article deduces the time of painted clay sculpture in Baosheng Temple.In this process, the artistic charactaristics of Buddha,Arahat and landscape images from Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty was revealed,and the most likely time of the sculpture was gradually discovered.The article tells us that the Main Hall of Baosheng Temple was probably built in the years of Dazhong Xiangfu,which is the same as Main Hall clay statue of Buddha Sakyamuni,Mahakasyapa,Ananda and Up-Looking Arahat,and young Rohan plastic in the late Northern Song Dynasty,or the early Southern Song Dynasty,and several other plastic in the plastic statue Arhats in the Northern Song Dynasty in the late saint.the landscape plastic of Baosheng Temple wall was made during the Northern Song Dynasty, and then repaired in the Southern Song Dynasty.
