Job satisfaction refers to the positive emotional response held by the staff,and it is an important psychology parameter of the measure of organizational performance. Teachers' job satisfaction is a general and emotional feeling and view of whose job and occupation and working conditions and situation.College teachers' job satisfaction impacts the teachers on work's enthusiasm and passion directly,and concerns with the quality of teaching in college and college management effectiveness;College teachers' mental health affects not only the individual teachers' work and teaching situation,but also affects the growth of students directly.Female teachers as an important component of the colleges,because of their complex role in society,their job satisfaction and mental health both present particularity.So it is significant to research college female teachers in job satisfaction and mental health.The theoretical significance is this paper can enrich and develop the research results about college teachers' job satisfaction and mental health,and can provide scientific basis for solve the problems of college female teachers;The practical significance is,according to the research and investigation,the rules and properties of college female teachers' job satisfaction and mental health will be got,the relevant policies will be made,college female teachers' job satisfaction and mental health will be improved,and female teachers' goal in life will be realized.In this paper,both job satisfaction and mental heath are researched,and 312 female teachers of five universities in Xi'an are selected to be the study subjects.SPSS 16.0 statistical software is used for data processing and analysis.A questionnaire is used to study job satisfaction,with seven dimensions(including:the work itself,the leadership of management,interpersonal relationship,welfare income,enhance education,work environment and work pressure).The data is analyzed,and the subjectivity factors are compared.The SCL-90 is used to study mental health,the data is analyzed,and the subjectivity factors are compared.Finally,the correlation analysis of mental health scores and job satisfaction's dimensions is studied.The results show that:(1) College female teachers' job satisfaction is slightly low overall,particularly the lowest is the welfare income,the highest is the interpersonal relationship;(2) College female teachers' mental health is lower than the national average level in general.Besides the interpersonal relationship is no significant difference to a national norm scores.The remaining factor scores are significantly higher than the national norm value scores;(3) The subjectivity factors(including:age, education,job title,marriage status and the administrative duty) all have varying degrees of difference,in dimensions of job satisfaction;(4) Besides the marriage status, the other subjectivity factors(including:age,education,job title and administrative duty) have varying degrees of difference,in the dimensions of mental health;(5)The relevant equations of mental health scores and dimensions of job satisfaction(that is standardized regression equation,after simplification) is:Y=-0.153F1-O.122F3.In order to improve college female teachers' job satisfaction,the following recommendations are made:(1) Reform the pay system,reflecting a just and fair;(2) Establish the logos of permanent education,pay attention to the training of college teachers;(3) Improve the appointment system status steadily;(4)Promote the female teachers to participate in society.In order to improve college female teachers' mental health,the following proposals are made:(1) Attention to do the propaganda,creating a good psychological environment of the public;(2) Reinforce the individual self-psychological adjustment of college female teachers;(3) Establish specialized agencies;(4) "people-oriented", reflecting management methods' humanity.
