| Road traffic crash now is an important public health problem in many countries.On the basis of former research and conclusions of open questionnaire survey,we explored the driving behavior questionnaire of bus-drivers.With the item analysis,the exploratory factor analysis,the reliability and validity test,the model turned out to be legitimate.Using the Driving Behavior Questionnaire,Type A Behavior Pattern Questionnaire,and accident recording list,the study explored the current status of bus drivers' driving behaviors as well as its relationship between the A-type personality and the accidents.The results of research were as follows:1.Bus drivers' driving behavior questionnaire contained three dimensions:errors,violations,lapses.It showed good reliability and validity.2.The demographic factors,such as gender,driving length and marital status would influence the exhibition of bus drivers' driving behavior.In addition,it showed that the educational level of drivers did not relate to the driving behavior.3.Correlation analysis displayed that A-type personality was significantly related to driving behavior,single vehicle crashes and multiple vehicle crashes.Multiple vehicle crash was close related to errors,violations,lapses,while single vehicle crash was only related to lapses.4.A-type personality of the drivers' errors and violations should be significantly higher than that of the other groups,while B-type personality of the drivers' errors was remarkably lower than that of the other groups.Compared with single vehicle crashes and multiple vehicle crashes,non-crash-involved drivers' had less Time Hurry and Competition Hostility.Furthermore,different type crashes of drivers' had great differences in errors,violations and lapses.5.The result showed the main factors of accidents for bus drivers' were driving behaviors,driving length,gender,marital status and smoking, personality was not a direct factor in the accidents.
