Environmental Analyzing And Optimizing Study On Wuhan Creative Industries

Creative Industries, which was brought forward by British government, is a reasonably original concept in the fields of academic research, policy and industry. In the age of New Economy, the development of information and communication technology resulting in the amalgamation among culture, technology and economy, motivates creative industries progressing around the world. The government of nations and cities in the world advocate creative industries to boost the economic growth.Industry environment is all object factors and conditions for the industry development. Every industry can not exist without them. In another word, it is some specific environment that causes the industry. So realizing and reconditioning the industry environment is very important to improve the industry. Because the characteristics of creative industries are as culture in core with individuation and agglomeration, not every city has the environments to develop creative industries. From the history of overseas creative industries, we can see creative industries all form in big scale cites which have city culture, hi-technology, and enough human resource. These cities have their own characteristics and developing emphases. Nowadays, China is in the primary period of developing creative industries. We should learn lots of experiences of overseas. But the most important thing is to adapt the basic reality in China and different characteristics of cities. Only by this way, can China achieve a long-term and fast development in creative industries.Wuhan located in middle and down stream of ChangJiang River. It is one of the old industry cities throughout Chinese history which is of strong economy foundation, lots of universities and fast development in hi-technologies basic on Guanggu area. Because of these environments, Wuhan is a potential city in the germination period of creative industries. However, there are some environments problems in developing Wuhan creative industries. The thesis first analyzes the basic environments of developing creative industries. Then use these environments as a basic theory to analyzing the environments of Wuhan creative industries. At last, some optimizing research will be given to improving Wuhan creative industries.
