The Researching Of The End Of 20th Century Of The Development Of Chinese Character Design

Since the 80's of 20th century,The development of digital technologies was changing the way of people's life rapidly.In particular,the popularity of personal computers has injected new vitality into modern design.With the changes of media,Text as an information carder appears a wide range of diversified trends.however,compare with the rapidly development of western fonts Design,the development of Chinese characters design fonts was slow and confused.This situationt arouse the concern of the society.In view of this,This paper will research and analyze the Chinese character design of the digital environment,and try to establish a researching frame of developmentof contemporary Chinese characters design,to provide some reference and inspiration for future Chinese characters development.This article can be divided into four main parts,The first part made an overview of historical changes of Chinese characters,and made a brief analysis of the evolution of morphological changes and the process of standardization,than sum up the experience for the future inspired.The second have two chapters,based on the back ground of technological revolution of 80's 20th century,Introduced fonts design changes under the influence of digital technology.From systematic analysis of four aspects,they are technology changing,Media changing,The emergence of new fonts and the principles of fonts design.This part sort out the details of the development of fonts design which after the popularization of personal computer,and it is the most important part of the whole paper.The third part Analysis structural features of Chinese characters,the purpose of it is to summarized the rules of Chinese character features,to provide guidance to Chinese characters design in digital background.The forth part made a conclusion of content before,and analysis the challenges and opportunities of Chinese character development. Media decide the form of fonts,so this paper concern the media changes below the technology changes,and reserch the new concept of fonts design in new media,try to do something for Chinese character design development.
