Research On Chinese Noun-and-adjective's Two-syllable And Two-type Combined Compound Words

Every language has the problem of two-type words. But the problem of Chinese lacking the strict sense of the morphological changes is more evident. It is the multi-type phenomenon of a word owned two or more types of major grammatical function.We call a word two-type word for its two kinds of grammatical functions of noun and adjective.This phenomenon of Chinese has been concerned about by the academics. But there is no systematic statistical study about it. In modern Chinese two-syllable word is the main form. It has been the universal significance to research Modern Chinese form of the double-syllable and two-type words of noun and adjective.By analysing and studying the "Modern Chinese Dictionary" carefully, I select 383 two-syllable and two-type words which contain a term meaning of noun and adjective. Which contain 104 two-type words of noun and attribute words; 13 two-type words of noun, verb and adjective; 229 two-type words of noun and adjective; 2 four-type words of noun, adjective, adverb and conjunction; 35 r-reading, dialects or colloquial sense of words.According to the grammatical structure ,I classify the three-type words of noun,verb and adjective and the two-type of noun. One is combined two-type of noun and adjective ,the other is partial-shaped.The third is the two-type of verb-object type of noun and adjective.The fourth is the two-type words of subject-predicate. I took a wide analysis about them. This article focuses on the combined compound words of the two-type noun and adjective.We have the conclusion that in the two-type of noun words ,it firstly has the usage of noun,then the adjective's.And in the two-type of adjective is the usage of adjective ,firstly,then the noun's.In the verbal types,it firstly has the usage of verbs ,then the nouns',the adjectives'meaning and grammar.This study shows that,Chinese two-syllable name two-type combined compound words of noun and adjective meaning in different phenomenon is closely related to the grammatical meaning The grammatical nature of the monosyllabic morpheme determines the the original concrete grammatical meaning of two-syllable two-type words.It is a complex task to make accurate statistical,systematic study of the semantic grammar about Chinese two-type words of noun and adjective. In this paper, the study of the statistics, classifications, data collection and analysis of the semantic grammar, with the pilot, the characteristics of exploratory is more important. I believe my data from this work, conclusions and ideas, methods will be of great importance and significance to a reference work on study the Chinese two-type words.
