How to create a harmonious society for senior citizens and young people, physically handicapped and normal people to participate, which is one of the responsibilities of government, the industry as well as the whole society. Making a research on this subject conform to the development of civilization in our society.Through the collection of literature to give theoretical guidance on the basis of the subject; through market research personally to carry out an analytical study of plate furniture. Then combine the two aspects to carry out user-friendly panel furniture design for the disabled. The specific content includes the following:First of all, on barrier-free design of the basic situation, to summarize and analyse such aspects which includes China and developed countries in the barrier-free legislation, education, scientific research, the implementation as so on, at the same time, to make a deeply research on physiology and psychology of the disabled and the elderly of these vulnerable group.Secondly, to summarize and analyse the basic situation of panel furniture, production process and 32mm systems, on the basis of some of the existing design methods at home, to set up a complete set of humanistic design principles and product strategy of plate furniture for the disabled, and propose a systemic design method of furniture.Finally, taking lower limb disabled bedroom wardrobe design as an example, to apply the specific methods and 32mm systems theory to the design practice, and fully embody its practical significance.
