The concept of the engagement has been derived from the concept of burnout. The engagement is a new research field, which has been deeply influenced by the development of the positive psychology. Up to now, there are few researches about the study engagement in the world, and all of the few research papers are written based on the outcomes of the work engagement researches. So, the author considers that it is necessary to design a series of the questionnaires, which conforming to the native scenes, to fill the current blank of the research in this topic.Based on the current research foundation of the work engagement and study engagement, this thesis is devoted to developing an undergraduate's study engagement questionnaire, which according to the context of the China (mainland). In the meantime, this questionnaire will be used to measure the current status of the undergraduate's study engagement in the Jiangxi Province.This research is consisted by five phases. The first phase is to make the deeply interview and the open structured questionnaire investigation, which aim to make a full understanding of the specific feathers of the undergraduate's study engagement and prepare for the design of the initial questionnaire. Based on the former stage, the second phase is to design the dimensions and the items of the undergraduate's study engagement questionnaire, and form the initial questionnaire. The third phase is to have an explore factor analysis of the investigation result of the initial questionnaire, and induce or delete the primary dimensions and the items. In the end of the third phase, a formal questionnaire has been developed. In the fourth phase, the confidence and effectiveness of the formal questionnaire have been confirmed by several methods, such as confirmatory factor analysis, etc. The last phase is the application of the formal questionnaire. An investigation has been implied to measure the current status of the undergraduate's study engagement in the Jiangxi Province. Then, some measurements and suggestions have been introduced to improve the level of the status of the undergraduate's study engagement.Through amounts of investigations, analysis, and research, several main conclusions have been induced as below.1. The structure of the undergraduate's study engagement is a multi-dimensioned structure formed, which includes the study attitude, study value, self-demand, absorption, study schedule.2. The overall status of the undergraduate's study engagement in the Jiangxi Province is just above the moderate level. Considering as the five dimensions, the average score of the self-demand is the highest one, and the average scores of the study schedule and absorption are negative.3. Analyzed with several demography varies, the variances between them are dominant.
