Research Objective: This paper takes the polytechnic College students as the researchobject, aiming to understand the currentvocational college students' status quo ofsocial support and subjective well-being and explore the relationship between social support and subjectivewell-being, in order to enrich the theory of subjective well-being and give some references to enhance the subjective well-being of vocational college students as well as promote the mental health of vocational college students.Research Approaches: Based on the previous studies on social support, subjective well-being as well as the rela- tionship between the two at home and abroad, combinating of the characteristics of vocational college students, the study uses a questionnaire survey and interviews of 388 vocational college students in 3 vocational colleges in Hefei to study their social support and subjective well-being.Result:1. Vocational college students' social support of different genders, different disciplines, different home-places and whether he/she is the single child has significant difference: girls receive other support is significantly higher than that of the boys; the friend support of students of arts is signify -cantly higher than that of students of science; vocational college students from the cities receivce significantly high -er support from friends than students from rural areas; the support from friends of the single child is significantly higher than that of the non-single child.2. Vocational college students' subjective well-being of different grades, different disciplines, different homeplaces, different family economic conditions and whether he/she is the single child has significant difference: the vocational college students in grade three has received the highest negative emotion; life satisfaction of students of arts is significantly higher than that of students of science; the overall subjective well-being, life satisfaction, positive emotions of vocational collegestudents from the cities are significantly higher than the vocational college students from rural areas; the overall subjective well-being and life satisfaction of the single child are significantly higher than the non-single child; the life saticfaction of good or general family economic conditions are significantly higher than those of poor family economic conditions.3.The dimensions of social support and subjective well-being of vocational college students are of significant correlation. And the prediction of the dimensions of social support varies from different places .The prediction of family support is the best, while other support runs the second.
