Origin And Development Of The Ritual Terms Of The Ritual Record

The following article explores the ritual phrases of the book of Ritual Record from four aspects. Firstly we research and explain the origin of the names of ritual,the rules of the ritual, the instruments of ritual, the object of ritual and the sacrifice and sum up the characteristic both in meaning and form, which shows that the names of ritual possess mainly monosyllables in form. Secondly the ritual phrases have the feature of extended and phonetic sense in meaning. Futhermore, we illustrate the ritual terms'development in amenity system and the influence on the relative subjects and modern fete. Finally, classifying the ritual terms from etymologic point of view will add more to the research of the ritual information and set up base for the further lucubration.
