Graphic-Design Under The Post-modern Context

Abstract:Under the post-modern context, the border of all subjects become indistinct, they refine or overlapping endlessly. On the meaning of epistemology, this trend is regarded as an "Crisis of Awareness" which is a common concept in philosophy. It means that we can't confirm the concept "what it is", we can only measure the sphere of influence from the concept "what it isn't".In this visual dominated era, people only focus on the surfacization and simplification of meaning. Visual stimulus is replacing the inteligence games in the world of Graphic-design, meaningless becomes a kind of meaning. In that way, when the vagueness of all subjects have already become the epitome of this era, how in the world should we judge mordern aesthetic? How to unscramble contemporary Graphic-Design? The significance of pondering contemporary Graphic-design is to reveal the context of culture, and to learn it for the mordern Graphic-design education based on the disorder representation of Post-modern.
