Confrontation And Influence Factor Analysis Of The Differences Of Mental Health Of Undergraduates From Different Majors In Jilin University

Objective:The study is aimed in founding the Mental Health and its influence factorsof undergraduates in jilin university.Method:It is a cross-sectional study,five hundred undergraduates of jilin university from grade one to grade three,were investigated with a self-designed questionnaire combined with SCL-90. Deseriptive analysis,t-test, one-way anova, multiple linear stepwise regression by the SPSS13.0.Results:1.The higher the students grade is, the higher the checking ratio of psychological problem. The incidence of psychological problem in students was 39.7%,9% of them had higher sensitivity of psychological problem. Students in school of computing in grade two had the highest rate of mental health problems.2. Compared with the general model:except in somatization and hostile which had no statistical significance,all the other dimensionality of three professions's scl-90 scores are lower than the general model. Compared with Chinese adult norm, The difference in sensitive to interpersonal relation,anxiety,hostile,Psychotic symptoms (P＜0.01) is quite remarkable,in somatization (P＜0.05), The difference had statistical significance. Compared with Chinese young norm.the score is lower in interpersonal relation (P＜0.01) and bigoted (P<0.05),but higher in somatization. anxiety and Psychotic symptoms (P＜0.01)3. The scores in dimensionality of scl-90 reflected that behind with different grades,between male and female, class cadre and non-class cadre, in different cultural atmosphere of different professions,in different family status,there was no statistically signigicant.4.The result of stepwise regression analysis found that, the main Influencing factors of Mental health level in jilin university were:the ability of people to adjust feelings and control moods,religion,before registering for an exam,sleep quality,differences in majors,Living area,how long the students been on-line,highly dependent on computers and networks.Conclusion:1. Compared with the general model:Mental heath status of students in jilin university were fairly good in totality.2.Students in School of Computing of jilin university had obvious problems in mental health.3.The difference of mental health level in students had a psychological and social characteristic:More serious problems of mental health was found in urban students. It is high probability found Psychological problems in Students in religious background.4. Psychological problems of students is a result of comprehensive effect of stressor from individual,society and adopt different coping style.5. Mental heath was influenced by Internet Dependency, the longer the students use the computer, the more Psychological problems they have, Especially in interpersonal skills.6. Unhealthy lifestyle also affect the level of mental heath, especially a bad sleep pattern.
