There are not only similarities but also differences between the usages of a series of time adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean. In this regard, previous studies have made a lot of good. In this paper, based on existing research results, we will make a contrast research about the time adverbs in Chinese and Korean from semantic functions, syntactic functions and pragmatic functions to find out the similarities and differences of the time adverbs which mean "all the time" between Chinese and Korean. In this paper, the time adverbs in Chinese and Korean as mentioned will be expounded from the following four aspects in detail.PartⅠis a brief introduction to the purpose and significance of this study, research scope and research methods, research profile and corpus sources, symbol descriptions and so on. And a summary of the present state of the studies on the time adverbs in Chinese and Korean describes the present contrast research status. This paper also bounded the time adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean and made a clear explanation about the research scope.Part II is the semantic contrast of the adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean, expatiating on the semantics and the correspondence form of the time adverbs in Chinese and Korean. In the semantic part, the contrast analysis is made from three aspects including continuous features, starts and ends, long and short of the time adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean.Part III is the syntactic contrast of the adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean, mainly discussing the collocation instance of the time adverbs with verbs, adjectives and so on, discussing the position in the sentence, the co-occurrence of negative structure and the brachylogy of the time adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean. It is emphasized that the collocation of the time adverbs and moment verbs, modal verbs and overlap of verbs when discussing collocation with verbs and it is emphasized that the time adverbs before and after the subject when discussing the position in the sentence. When discussing the collocation of the time adverbs with negative structure, the Chinese"不,没"are chosen to be main study objects.Part IV is the pragmatic contrast of the time adverbs which mean "all the time" in Chinese and Korean, mainly discussing the selections of language form and sentence form of the time adverbs in Chinese and Korean. At the end, a conclusion is made to summarize the main points in this paper and to point out deficiencies.
