A Researh Of Comprehend Adverb Contrast Between Chinese Language And Korean Language

Modality adverb is comparatively complicated in its function and usage in Chinese an Korean. It has special individuality in the respe cts of syntax, semantic, and pragma.This article studied modality adverbs denotiong comprehend, regar ding structuralism as the foundation, combining to borrow ideas from the theoretical research methods of grammaticalization, cognitive gra mmar, and functional grammar. This article integratedly studied modal ity adverbs denoting comprehend in four parts totally.The first part is introduction. It starts with the purpose and s ignificance of the study, followed by the previous study, research me thod and resources of corpus, and then analyzes the scope of Chinese and Korean comprehend adverbs.The second part compares the semantic features of Chinese and Kor ean comprehend modality adverbs based on the interpretation of dictio nary and corpus analysis in order to find out the similarities and di fferences between the two.The third part compares the syntactic expression of Chinese and K orean comprehend adverbs. In studies the syntactic distribution, the collocation and use together of Chinese and Korean comprehend adverbs. Both Chinese and Korean comprehend modality adverbs co-occur with dy namic auxiliary, modal words and conjunction.The forth part compares pragmatic functions of Chinese and Korean comprehend adverbs. It analyses the frequency of usage, the features of syntactic distribution and pragmatic functions.The conclusion part sums up the main points of this paper and poi nts out deficiencies.
