Under The Framework Of Theoretical Perspectives Of Media "1936 Xi'an Incident"

The Xi'an Incident, which occurred on December 12,1936. Due to the inconvinience of information, then people could only learn about this events from the news media, which belongs to different groups of various interests as in the specific historical background. They conveyed to the pubilc with the information which beneficial to their own will in their respective reports in order to create public opinion, which tried to promote their expectations towards the Xi'an Incident direction.I will combine the whole of China's historical background at the 30 years of last century, and take the "Ta Kung Pao", "Central Daily", "Liberation Daily" as the object of study, as well as to select the news reports from December, 1936 to February, 1937, a total of three months, to analysis from the prospects of the framework of the theory and the theories of agenda. The report types, reference sources, layout, language and tone characteristics will be contained to outline the three major newspapers'reports on the Xi'an Incident and build a framework for various media reports. While the specific operation will be concerned with several typical dates involved in this incident so that a clear network of this matter will based on comparing to their reports.The innovation of this paper is trying to creatively frame the theoretical information from the position of "Ta Kung Pao", "Central Daily", "Liberation Daily" on the Xi'an Incident reports on a different historical background and to outline framework of their own potential of these news media. Then the three horizontal comparison of different focus and content of reports, find out the media in different media discourse structure constructed reality, and finally by choosing a typical node analysis of information to focus on the text, and to summe up various news media framework through its own public to convey different messages and subtle influence on the Xi'an Incident in promoting causes and impact of different directions.I eventually found that three major media reported this incident under their own clear purpose with a distinctive guidance to build out the facts with their own characteristics which to convey to the audience desired information,The Xi'an Incident was able to have a complete understanding and interpretation when the coverage of all three media were combined.As newspaper for the Party, "Central Daily News", was always controling the direction of their reports with a strong political objective and "deterrence framework."was shown all the time. "Ta Kung Pao," with the full participation, it recorded the Xi'an Incident showing the community's sense of responsibility and loyalty to the country as a member of society. We will actively participate in multi-party planning and play an important role in resolving this incident peacefully while showing the "dissuasive framework". As the only newspaper in Xi'an, "Liberation Daily" was responsible for reporting the truth to the public and explaining the policy of the "inspired framework" as well as popularizing "to stop the civil war for foreign aggression", which played an important role.This article will do whole reports on the Xi'an Incident by using agenda setting, frame analysis of different theoretical methods to summarize the roles of the media in the process of the Xi'an Incident, and hope to find out a deeper information behind these reports frames in order to provide some reference for present media practice.
