Study On GuoYu

Guided by the theories of General Principle and original Ecological Research Ways which are proposed by Professor Wang Zhongling, this thesis is to discuss the literariness of GuoYu. To be specific, this thesis is to explore the unique literariness of GuoYu through three aspects, that is, characterization, narration features and language characteristics.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction, main text and conclusion. The introduction gives a brief review of researches on this subject, research methods, and the political and cultural environments of GuoYu. The main text is composed of three chapters. The first chapter is to give an overview of the author, the year when the book was finished, different versions that circulated in history, the inclination of the ideology and the characteristics of the"the type of discourse". The second chapter explores the unique literariness of GuoYu through three aspects, that is, characterization, narration features and language characteristics. The third chapter mainly discusses the profound influence of GuoYu towards historiography methods and literary works. The conclusion summarizes the main idea of the whole text and states the overall achievements of GuoYu.
