The Ci-poem Theory Study Of Chen Tingzhuo′s "straining Force"

"Straining force" in Chen Tingzhuo's Bai yu zhai ci hua is the direct inheritance and development of the ancient poetic tradition. "Straining force" contains a wide range of aspects such as emotions, contents about works, creative technics, aesthetic characteristics, etc. In the words of Chen Tingzhuo's theory, the "straining force" by which he judges the poets and their works has the meaning of ontology ,creation,method and appreciation,and it also has the significance of criticism and appreciation. Chen Tingzhuo aims at the Confucian gentle style, makes the "coquettish" as the standard, and forms " straining force " as the core of the Ci theoretical system.The thesis is divided into four parts. First, the author states the motivation and the background of the theory , from the times, life's experience and academic orientation to analyse the causes of the thoughts of his words, to explain that the motives , the writing intention, and the purpose of creation is consistent. So ,to a certain extent, it shows the necessities and reasons.Second, the autor dates back to the original of "straining force" , "Gloomy" in the earliest found in Liu Xin, "the book from the YANG Xiong take dialect", because of the language involved in dialect, the basic style has nothing to do with literature.But then the word is carrying the emotional connotation and aesthetic means that more and more prominent. As a kind of literary style, First appeared in the literary critic Liang Zhong Rong "Poem Sequence" .The use of the ancient scholars, the "depressed" with the development of the Semantic Evolution, Du Fu "Fu carved into the table" with the "Contemplative" two words summed up his work style.To Chen Tingzhuo "Baiyuzai words" whole body stress "gloomy" and the "gloomy" up to a certain theoretical level.Third, the author analyses the composition of theory, which is the focus of the full text, including its theoretical premise, the theoretical connotation and application of theory of three parts. "Straining force" is based on the "coquettish" in spirit and resentful attention to social life and pays attention to the spirit of education. In the content of the theory "complaint" is the first element, "xing" is the way of the expression ,the lingering Implication is language's features, and finally the theory attributes to the highest level ---"the gentle peace". Chen Tingzhuo sometimes combines with the word "depressed" and "frustrated" and sometimes separates the two words .These two words have different emphases: "depressed" focuses on intention, that is emotional state or ideological level, and "frustrated" focuses on technic , namely, writing style. In the actual creation, the "meaning" and "document", "love" and"Depressed"and"frustrated"as the highest standards of the word, is inseparable as a whole. "Straining force" contains four aspects: the poetic style, the word history, creation and criticism.Chen Tingzhuo said,"Nothing more than'straining force'can't be described."So he uses it not only as a term of ontology, but also the deriving word's changes, that is, from the history to run through. At the same time, he makes either creation or art based on the"depressed"with the significance of the creation and criticism.Fourth, "straining force" establishes the core of critical concepts and builds an independent and complete theoretical system of Ci, which summarizes Changzhou Ci theory ;recommends the style of Ci and pays attention to the social function of words to stress the character of lyric and aesthetic,so it can be said that it is based on the association of the further deepening and development.
