Eastern Four Leagues Of Inner Mongolia And The Investigation Of Su Qin Wang

In 1906, Su Qin Wang was sent to the Eastern four leagues of Inner Mongolia for investigating. This thesis takes the investigation as the main topic, and makes use of some investigating reports and diaries which didn't make full use of. The author combined these reports and diaries with other outstanding writings and relevant materials, describe the cautions, process of the group of. Su Qin Wang and the situation of Eastern four leagues in the eyes of investigators and their propositions. The thesis comprises of three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion. The introduction includes choose of time and space, meaning of subject, innovations, overview of the researches, historical materials and related instructions. The main body includes four chapters. Chapter one, "the Eastern Four Leagues of Inner Mongolia and its changes before the'New Policy'", describing the land reclamation and the setting profile of the Fu, Ting, Zhou, Xian before the "New Policy" and the Jin Dan Dao riot and its serious consequences. Chapter two, "the'New Policy' in the late Qing dynasty and the investigation of the Group of Su Qin Wang", carding the causation, content and the researching route of the group of Su Qin Wang investigated the Eastern four leagues of Inner Mongolia. Chapter three, "the Eastern Four Leagues of Inner Mongolia in the investigating reports", show the situation of land reclamation, towns, business and customs of Mongolians according to the record of the reports and diaries. Chapter four, "the propositions and influences of the group of Su Qin Wang", analyzing the idea proposed by Wu Lu Zhen, a retinue of the group, and represents kinds of methods taken in the late Qing dynasty. The conclusion was concluded of the whole thesis.
