Since the Macao SAR Government had been handed over to China for ten years, its language condition has been obviously changing and developing. It's language plan and the language policy has also been significantly changing along with it. The common spoken Chinese becomes more and more important. But there are many problems on the common spoken Chinese teaching of the elementary schools in Macao, such as teachers'qualifications, teaching materials, curriculums, and teaching languages. Compared with the Macao SAR Government language policy, such kinds of condition we mentioned above is the lag. In addition, the Macao SAR Government carries out the curriculum reforms positively. The urgency of the curriculum reforms makes the elementary schools on their common spoken Chinese teaching become essential and necessary. In order to master the whole situation of the common spoken Chinese teaching of the elementary schools in Macao, basing on the curriculum appraised theory, the research constructs four kinds of investigation index such as "the school administration", "the curriculum situation" , "the teaching", and "the training", meanwhile it uses the questionnaire and SPSS 15.0 to carry on the survey and statistics the data. In addition, the research selects four different backgrounds schools as the appraisal objects, with the depth interview to understand how the teachers teach the common spoken Chinese, how the school administration support the common spoken Chinese curriculum degree, and how the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau cooperate to promote the common spoken Chinese teaching degree.Base on research findings, the recommendations for the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau to promote the common spoke Chinese are:1. orientate the common spoken Chinese curriculum as soon as possible;2. revise the present common spoken Chinese curriculum instruction;3. guide the schools to use the correct and suitable teaching materials step by step;4. strengthen the training for teachers;5. enlarge the funds for the common spoken Chinese curriculum;6. strengthen the teaching and research activities for teachers.
