With the promulgation of the Country Elementary Education Curriculum ReformInstruction Summary,the new round of elementary education reform was started in the wholecountry. The Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standard and the High SchoolHistory New Curriculum Standard was promulgated by the National Ministry of Educationone by one. This elementary education curriculum reform not only made unprecedentedchanges to the course of history in high schools but also put forward a severe challenge to theteaching of history in senior normal school. Transporting qualified history teachers forelementary education is the first mission of education in senior normal schools. Therefore,cultivating the history new curriculum teachers who can adopt to the new circumstance assoon as possible become the primary mission to the history teacher training in the seniornormal schools.On the ground of the analysis of the requirements that high school new curriculumreform put forward to the history teachers in high school, this essay states certain problems inthe history teacher training in the senior normal schools, and then come up with some countermeasures and suggestions. The essay has five sections:Section one: IntroductionThe main content of this section is to introduce the meaning of this issue、the researchabout it、the main points of the essay and the innovation of it.Section two: The requirements that high school new curriculum reform put forward tothe history teachers in high schoolThis section states that the history teachers in high school under the ground of newcurriculum reform should have the modern education ideas、a solid knowledge of history、comprehensive teaching skills and ability to research,only a teacher has those can he adoptto the high school history teaching in21th century.Section three: Analysis of problems in history teacher training in the senior normalschool under the background of curriculum reformThis chapter analysis the existing problems in nowadays history teacher training in thesenior normal school.It mainly contains: the first is the backward idea about education, the second is the unreasonable set up about courses, the third is the backward pattern aboutteaching, the fourth is the disconnect with the history teaching in middle school, the fifth isthe single method of assessment, the sixth is the poor condition for teaching and the last oneis the atrophy of enrollment.Section four: How can the history teaching in senior normal school adopt to the newcurriculum reformAccording to the the existing problems in nowadays history teacher training in the seniornormal school, this chapter put forward the counter measures below: the first is to strengthenthe understanding to the frontline teaching in middle school, the second is to change the ideaabout education, the third is to adjust the system of courses, the fourth is to perfect theeducation practice, the fifth is to update the teaching methods and the last is to update theidea about assessment.Section five: The conclusions.This chapter makes a summary about the researches in this essay, put forward theshortcomings in the researches and make a prospect about the direction of the research in thefuture.
