Study On Development Traces Of Taiwan's Feminist Literary Criticism

Western feminist literary criticism is a new critical theory arising in the mid-twentieth century and soon became a new theoretical trend of researching literatures in the literary world. The development of Taiwan's feminist literary criticism has the initial scale, after "China-foreign literature" came out"The special issue of feminist literary criticism"in 1986.Feminist literature in Taiwan rose and flourished rapidly in the 1950s. It is the realistic basis of Taiwan's feminist literary criticism. The flourish and spread of Western feminist theory is the theoretical basis of Taiwan's feminist literary criticism. And the social environment that people pay attention to women widely promotes the acceptance and the spread of feminist literary criticism in Taiwan at the moment.The contribution of "China-foreign literature" is important to the development of Taiwan's feminist literary criticism. Taiwan's feminist literary criticism made use of the western feminist literary criticisms to deconstruct the critical tradition of Male-centered and analyze the works written by authoress again. And Taiwan's feminist literary criticism also advocates the theory of"feminism writing". But at the same time due to the lack of theoretical foundation, Taiwan's feminist literary criticism transplants Western feminist theory simply, and have harmful effects on the female writers at the moment. Mainland scholars studied feminist literature in Taiwan rarely, especially Taiwan's feminist literary criticism. So the purpose of the thesis is that aroused the attention of scholars on Taiwan's feminist literary criticism when they concerned about Feminist literature in Taiwan. So the thesis is a study of the development traces of Taiwan's feminist literary criticism. It analyzed Taiwan's feminist literary criticism in detail from the rising reasons to the developing process, especially inducted and arranged the magazine "China-foreign literature".
